WHO has not ear for music? Obviously, from the human being to flora and fauna, every entity craves for music and scientists also have proven this. Catching the tone and manner of the successful album ‘WHY?’ that has made a tremendous sale in the market, it is now introducing ‘WHO?’, which will bereleased on 1st September 2010.

The Christian album, WHO? is featuring the renowned playback singers like Padma Shri Dr. S.P. Balasubramanium, Kalaimamani Dr. Nithyashree Mahadevan, Ranjith and Slumdog Millionaire fame ‘Palakkad’ Sriram. Dr. S.P. Balasubramanium, with a career of successful 45 years as a playback singer, has sung more than 45,000 songs in various languages. This wonderful award winning singer, with the Padma Shri Award, 6 National Awards, 23 State Awards has left the mark of unbeatable singer in the Guinness Book of World Records for recording most number of songs.

The personnel on various musical instruments includes: Naveen (Flute), Keith (Bass), Kalyan (Violin), Amul Raj (Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin & Oud), Thomas & Babu (Trumpet), Maxwell (Trombone), Rajhesh Vaidhya (Veenai) and Anjali Anjali fame Sax Raju on the Saxophone & the Clarinet. All of these musicians have played for Isaignani Maestro Illayaraja, Oscar award winner A.R. Rahman & National Award Winner Vidyasagar.

The Album will also feature Peter Chappel on the Cello, Yajing Xia on the Chinese Liuqin & Pipa and Thaksincha Lek on the Thai ‘Saw U’. This Album has had the valuable contribution of famous sound Engineer Danny who works for Harris Jeyaraj. Prashan Jeyatheepam has played the role of the Producer, Composer, Programmer and Music Arranger for all the songs in the album.

The creation of WHO? has a foundation as a fundraising project for ‘Bridge of Love’ , a charity dedicated to looking after more than 125 orphans. The charity runs orphanages that are spread over the North of Sri Lanka and South India. This charity is active since the past seven years to bread and bring up the underprivileged, poor and needy, broken and abandoned widows, orphans, and child labor victims just to make them self-dependent and let them lead the life of dignity. Bridge of Love is indeed a ‘Bridge’ for the forlorn orphans to the world of ‘Love’ where there are acceptance, freedom and compassion.

Needless to say, every penny raised from the sales of the album WHO? will strengthen the charity to run the orphanages.
