Biography
There is a nice saying: ‘An artist is born, not made’. This is true in regard of Ramesh, who was born on November 6th, 1984 in a middle class family that had no link to the world of music. Surprisingly, this child developed insatiable thirst for music, to the extent that he went on doing remix songs at the tender age of 17 to 20, but then moved onwards to producing his own songs. He has a flair for music, and he listens with the same zest and zeal to the music of different genres and cultures. He has not only an ear for music but also a good hand at playing keyboard. It is important to note that he is a self-taught keyboard player. Cool in temperament, Ramesh is a quick learner who perceives things easily. Hence Ramesh religiously completed sound engineering at Toronto in 2007-2008. It is his mother and friend circle that kept him inspiring and encouraging in composing music.

Of course everyone has his/her ideals that shape their career and thereby their life. The legends , A.R. Rahman and Ilayarajah have made deep impact on him. After his completion of the degree in sound engineering in 2008, Ramesh went on to compose music. His ‘Azhagai Naan’ is a masterpiece that only is suffiecient to prove his exceptional talent as a music composer. Another feather in Ramesh’s cap! Ramesh has strived hard in the competitive music world and successfully established his own label ‘Diamond Film Studios’ and all of his songs are released under this label. However, his main interest is Tamil music. Despite being a music composer, Ramesh is keen on directing movies as well. He has been promoting his works through different sources like youtube, social networks and IsaiArangam. Ambitious Ramesh is confident enough to bring his music up to international standard. Quick Interview:
Who encouraged you to compose your own music?
My mom and friends, Kandee and Sabesan in particular, have always been a big encouragement for me, as I can expect an honest feedback from them. Prior to every release, I usually allow them to listen to the song, and I do take the feedback to make the final adjustments.

Which musicians do you admire?
I do admire A.R.Rahman a lot – not only as a musician, but also as a person.

How would you like to be remembered?
I strive to be remembered as a good human being, rather than anything else. On my opinion, that’s the first priority.

Which type of emotion is difficult to express in music?
Music has no restrictions – I believe, that any emotion can be expressed with music

Do you have any messages in your song to tell people and what is that?
Currently the majority of songs are related to love, however I do consider working on different themes in the near future.

Music is a talent which is born wit u or u learnt?
Initially I had a few months of Keyboard training, which helped me to gain the foundation. After that, I started to learn on my own, and due to my interest, I decided in the year 2008 to study Sound Engineering, which helped me to learn the music theory and the technical side of music.
