‘Mannai Nambi’ K. Venugopal is a talented Malaysia based lyrics writer and a poetrist, who’ve started writing songs from early age of 18. His first album he produced was titled “Mannai Nambi” where the title song was sung by S.P.Balasubramaniam. The album was composed by Mr Isaivaanan from India, who among S.P.B and Venugopal also featured as a vocalist. Following Mannai Nambi, K.Venugopal worked on 4 songs for a malaysian patriotic album titled Velli Vayal Geetangal.
In year 2006 K.Venugopal contributed with a motherly song for the album ‘Kanavellam’ produced by Dhilip Varman under ONE VISION ENTERTAINMENT. After the great success of Kanavellam, K.Venugopal worked on another project with Dhilip Varman for the song ‘Meendum Meendum’ and ‘Idhayam Tedhum Teddal’ which received great appreciation from all over the world.

Already mentioned on Social Networking websites, but I had to comment on this. Idhayam Tedhum Teddel is absolutely a smashing song. I can feel the deepness in the lyrics, and along Dhilip Varmans music it makes it even more grand! It is a great thing, that we have still lyricists who are conveying a message using their songs, and It has been a pleasure listening to your interview and to the explanations given for certain lines.
You are a great Lyricist, but beside all, I personally think, you are a great human being. All the best for your future, and I hope to see more songs of yours on IsaiArangam in near future!

As they say, practice makes perfect. If you keep writing lyrics all the time, you will only keep getting better. One way to ensure that you don’t neglect your lyric writing is to set aside a regular period everyday to write lyrics. Early in the morning is probably one of the best time to write lyrics.
